The mission, accomplished
As the back of this card tells it: "Much-heralded Eastern European Jiri Prochazka made his UFC debut a memorable one with his second-round KO of former light heavyweight contender Volkan Oezdemir at UFC 251." And then came the quote that defined his entire UFC journey: "I want to take a title — that's my mission. That's my mission here." Mission accomplished — twice. Procházka went on to become a two-time UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, one of the most creative and unpredictable strikers in MMA history. This card was produced right at the start of that story.
