As the back of this card tells it: Brandon "The Assassin Baby" Moreno "has made his mission to become the first Mexico-born UFC Champion, and the Tijuana native has rocketed up the flyweight rankings. His dominant decision win over 125-pound legend Jussier Formiga at UFC Fight Night: Lee vs Oliveira was a statement victory." That statement turned into history — Moreno went on to become a two-time UFC Flyweight Champion, the first Mexican-born fighter to hold a UFC title. A landmark card for Mexican MMA history.
